Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)

LVT, or luxury vinyl tile flooring, is a popular alternative to real stone, marble and wood flooring. Normally made up of PVC layers, LVT flooring is much more cost-effective and offers reduced maintenance, whilst feeling softer and more comfortable underfoot. Its protective wear layer reduces scratches, scuffs, and stains, unlike other materials.

LVT bathroom flooring is great thanks to its water resistant properties, or if you’d prefer the smoother texture than a traditional tile. The same can be said for LVT kitchen flooring. Choose from marble effect LVT, slate, and stone effect. Wood effect LVT is one of the most popular styles of luxury vinyl tiles, without the hefty price tag of real wood flooring or the maintenance. There are two types of luxury vinyl tile when it comes to installation – LVT click flooring and glue down LVT. But what’s the difference? The former, as the name suggests, uses an interlocking method where the tiles ‘click’ together. No adhesive, nails, or glue are necessary, so fitting is easy. The latter requires a specific adhesive that must be applied to the subfloor before installation. Glue down luxury vinyl tiles are a more permanent flooring solution as they are securely fixed rather than ‘floating’ like click and lock LVT. Check out our range of adhesives here.
