Find out moreThis BodenWärme Electric Undertile Heating Mat comes with the ultra modern iSTAT Thermostat in white which offers full control via an ios or android app making it both easy to maintain a temperature or change it on a whim. The 200w/m² BodenWärme electric undertile heating kit is suitable for porcelain, ceramic and natural stone floors. This powerful undertile heating solution is particularly well suited to areas that suffer from heat loss such as conservatories or rooms with single pane windows. The 200w/m² BodenWärme electric undertile heating kit incorporates a sticky mesh design that allows for fast installation onto timber or concrete floors and is particularly well suited to regular shaped rooms. For optimal performance we recommend the use of our underfloor heating insulation boards, these specially designed insulation boards prevent any heat loss through uninsulated floors reducing running cost and speeding heat up times. Unlike unsightly radiators, the BodenWärme Electric Undertile Heating mats add a comfortable even warmth throughout a room without any hot or cold spots. The BodenWärme Heating Mats are both durable, reliable and backed with a lifetime Warranty while the thermostats are covered by specific manufacturer backed warranties giving peace of mind as well as the luxury of a heated floor.
Calculating the right size heating kit for a room is fairly simple but also very important to get right, the BodenWärme Undertile Heating mats can not be cut down to size and any mats that have been cut are unable to be returned. To calculate the right size heating you will need to start with finding out the total area of floor space by multiplying the width by the length, after doing this you need to deduct the space of any fixed furniture with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor, this is done to stop the chances of hot spots being generated. Once you have your total area minus the furniture without 50mm clearance you will need to deduct a further 10% to allow for the spacing between the mats and the perimeter of the room.
